Postponement of 5th and 8th class evaluation for 2022-23 - Education Department Order

The Education Department has ordered the postponement of the evaluation work that was intended to be conducted for the 5th and 8th School Students in the year 2022-23.

In this regard, an order has been issued by the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board, and as per the order of the High Court, the evaluation scheduled for class 5 and 8 students from March 13 has been postponed.  If the court allows, the date of conducting this evaluation will be announced in the coming days.

 This assessment is to know the learning level of the students, learning disabilities and in what subject they are lagging.  It is clarified that the purpose of this evaluation is not to fail any student.

 Similarly, yesterday, the court heard the petition filed in the High Court regarding the evaluation of 5th and 8th class.  After this, it was ordered to cancel the evaluation of class 5 and 8.  After this, the evaluation work has been postponed by the Education Department and ordered today.

 NEET PG counseling 2022

The Medical Counseling Committee has started the NEET PG counseling process from 20th September.  Candidates who choose to take admission in AIQ or state-based quota can register by September 23, 2022 by filling the counseling form at the official website mcc.nic.

Reports suggest that around 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 1,338 DNB CET and 922 PG Diploma seats will be filled through the counseling process.

 The last date to complete the registration process for NEET PG Counseling is September 23,2022.  The result of NEET PG will be released on September 28, 2022.  Successful candidates will have to report to the concerned organization from September 29 to October 04, 2022.

NEET PG Counseling Registration Fee :

 Candidates filling the NEET PG counseling form should pay the fee after filling the application form.  Fees once paid are non-refundable.  Application fee details are as follows.

 AIQ (All India Quota) Candidates- 1000/-Rs

 SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD Category Candidates- 500/-Rs

 Deemed University Candidates- 5000/-Rs

How to fill NEET PG Counseling Registration Application?  :

 Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC

 Step 2: Fill the registration form with the details asked there and note the NEET PG Counseling credentials.

 Step 3: Pay the security deposit after prescribed category wise application fee for counselling.

 Step 4: Next log in with the credentials created, select the course and college preference.

 Step 5: Submit the option filling for NEET PG counseling and log out from the dashboard.
