The Central Government's ambitious One Nation One Ration Card scheme has now got the support of technology.  The central government has launched a smartphone app related to this One Nation One Ration Card which will facilitate people to get ration in any part of the country.

The name of this app launched by the government is Mera Ration Card.  I mean, my ration card.  Through this app, the ration card holders will get help to get their ration from now on.

This scheme helps to get ration in any part of the country by keeping a single ration card.  Especially the workers who migrate from one state to another state will benefit greatly from this scheme.

 Thus, the migrant workers can get the ration grains through this Mera Ration Card app by identifying the fair price near them.

The now launched Mera Ration Card App is available in English and Hindi languages.  The service of this app will soon be available in 14 regional languages ​​of the country.  Often migrant workers, beneficiaries cannot read and write any language other than their mother tongue.  So, if Mera Ration Card is available in 14 regional languages ​​it will be more beneficial to the ration card holders.  If only in Hindi and English, the usage of this app will not increase.  In this background, the central government has also said that the languages ​​will be decided by identifying where the migrants and laborers are.

There is no doubt that if the Mera Ration Card App service is available in the respective local languages ​​apart from Hindi and English, it will be of great benefit.

 Mera Ration Card app released by Govt has many benefits.  This app provides information about the location of your nearest ration shop.  The information about which grains are available in the nearby shops can also be known from this app.  It contains recent transaction information along with Aadhaar number combination.  Migrants can download this app and register their details.

What is a country a ration card?

 The central government will distribute food grains at subsidized rates to 81 crore people under the National Security Act.  However, when migrant workers or beneficiaries move from one region to another region or from one state to another state they will not be able to get ration under the existing system.  In this background, to overcome the problem, the central government has implemented the One Country One Ration Scheme, where any migrant person, laborer can get the required ration from any ration shop in the country.  The government is planning to increase the reach of this scheme by making it more technology-based and app-based.
