 e-KYC Of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi yojana 

Farmers have given all their land and property documents to P.M.  This e-KYC is mandatory for kisan to declare that they are eligible for payment.

What is e-KYC?

 The extension of E-KYC is: Electronic Know Your Computer or Electronic Know your Client

KYC:

 The act of self-registration by submitting these documents to the office is called KYC.

Types of E-KYC:-

 1. Mobile based e-KYC

 2. Biometric based e-KYC

1. Mobile based e-KYC procedure:-

 (i) Go to PM-KISAN portal and click on e-kyc in Farmer Corner.

 (ii) Enter Aadhaar number and mobile number linked with Aadhaar.

 (iii) Enter the OTP received on the mobile number.

 (iv) E-kyc comes as Successful.

2. Biometric based e-KYC procedure:-

 (i)Farmers who cannot do mobile based e-KYC can do biometric based e-KYC.

 (ii) Can be done at General Seva Kendra, Village One Centres.

Advantages of doing e-KYC? Why do it?

 (i) P.M.  Every beneficiary of Kisan Yojana is also required to do e-KYC to get funds.

 (ii) Farmers who are already receiving money must do e-KYC to get next installment.

 (iii) It is mandatory to do PM-KISAN e-KYC to get financial assistance of 14th installment.
