Karnataka Griha Lakshmi Yojana 2023

 Congress party has decided to launch Griha Lakshmi Yojana to provide financial assistance to housewives, landless women, women agricultural workers.  Under Griha Lakshmi Scheme Rs.  2,000 per month through DBT mode and free skill development training under Shram Shakti Yojana to one lakh women during the current year to enable housewives to start profitable home-based businesses and self-employment.

Congress chief Mr. Kharge said that financial assistance under Griha Lakshmi Yojana for women empowerment and skill training under Shram Shakti Yojana will help increase financial literacy and generate income through home-based industries.

Objectives of Griha Lakshmi Yojana

 For the empowerment of women in the state of Karnataka

 To provide financial assistance to them Rs.  2,000 per month.

 To support landless women agricultural laborers and housewives of Karnataka state.

 Providing free skill training to one lakh women of the state under the Shram Shakti sub scheme.

Benefits of Griha Lakshmi Yojana

 Housewives in Karnataka will be able to get Rs 2,000 per month for free, which is Rs 24000 per year.

 Landless women agricultural laborers will also be benefited under this scheme.

 The amount will be directly transferred to their bank account through DBT mode.

 Free skill development training will be provided under Shram Shakti Yojana.

 Earlier there was a subsidy of Rs.  1500 per month but the Congress increased the subsidy for women to Rs.  2,000 per month

 Women are able to buy essentials and fulfill their needs.

 Women should be permanent residents of Karnataka state.

 Applicants should not have any land in their name otherwise Griha Lakshmi Yojana application form will be rejected.

 BPL category women are covered under this scheme.

 Government employees are not covered under this scheme.
